Reviews

review Rippon Sauvignon Blanc 2021Cameron Douglas MS: 93/100.  Varietal, mineral, quietly expressive within the bouquet and naturally varietal with scents of fresh herbs and some wild spices, white fleshed fruits and citrus highlights. Taut, dry, youthful and very engaging on the palate. Flavours on the palate mirror the bouquet with citrus and fresh herbs, there’s plenty of fruit spice and a back bone of acidity. Delicious, fresh, not a mainstream style - thank goodness, very taut and new - a wine that will age and develop over the next few years. Best drinking should be from 2025 through 2030+.

Bewertung Rippon Sauvignon Blanc 2021James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com): 92/100. Subtle aromas of lemon curd and melon with some crushed stone. Medium-bodied with very tangy acidity and a sliced ripe lemon and light green mango. Density with freshness. Drink now.

Tasting note

A beautifully styled sauvignon offering vibrancy as well as refinement; the fragrant bouquet shows nectarine, citrus, green apple details and flinty notes, leading to an elegantly weighted palate and a crisp mineral savoury finish.
