New release, October 2023, No.1 Reine Cuvée is a tribute to the family’s Mother and Mémère, Reine Vautrelle Le Brun. The floral pattern is inspired by a precious heirloom ring handed down to grandaughter, her 'petite-fille', Virginie Le Brun. This classic Méthode Traditionelle blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier has had long term lees ageing and minimal dosage to create a seamless and sophisticated Extra Brut Reserve NV.

Reviews
Cameron Douglas MS: 97/100 (Outstanding - Classic: a great wine). This is a fantastic wine beginning with plush pale golden hues and lemon highlights leading to a bouquet of white fleshed orchard fruits and citrus swathed in a fresh butter brioche autolysis from extended fine lees complexities. Apple blossom, nut and honey highlights complete the bouquet. A complex wine touches the palate with a softly textured voluminous mousse and super fine bubble. Nicely weighted with a rounded satin-cream texture, core flavours of oatmeal, citrus, white fleshed orchard fruits with layers of autolysis and acidity. A delicious wine with a dry, lengthy finish offering perfect drinking today and through the next eight to twelve years.
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit: 97/100. Exquisitely composed and styled, showing crunchy apple, lemon pith, sweet pastry and white floral nuances, leading to a brilliantly focused palate exhibiting creamy mouthfeel combined with beautifully pitched acidity, finishing graceful and captivating. Seamless and perfectly proportioned.
Bob Campbell, MW (The Real Review): 96/100 & Top Rank.
Tasting Note
The bouquet is rich and complex with delicious buttery shortbread and brioche autolysis and delightful hints of ripe apricot. The extended lees ageing has created a charming méthode that is full and rich but retains finesse. Champagne-like characters of brioche and buttered toast are entwined with baked peach and ripe apricot. The pallet is broad with beautifully balanced acidity creating a seamless and elegant méthode that is crisp, yet lingers on the taste buds.
