Framingham Sauvignon Blanc is made to be typically Marlborough in style, with a few great tasting twists. The focus is on the texture of the wine, giving it some richness and mouthfeel so that it is not lean or austere. This is one wine that won't give it all away on the first sip.

Reviews
Cameron Douglas MS: 93/100. Pungent, fresh, herbaceous and fruity with flavours of lemon and grapefruit, cape gooseberry and pineapple, fresh sage leaf and apple. Crisp and dry as the wine touches the palate, the acid line is distinctive carrying flavours and textures throughout [the palate]. Well made and ready to drink from early 2024 through 2027.
Bob Campbell, MW (The Real Review): 92/100 & Wine of the Week. Fruity sauvignon with passionfruit, lime zest, juicy red capsicum and grapefruit flavours. Offers a concentrated example of a benchmark Marlborough sauvignon style. Traditionalists will love it.
VINOUS - Rebecca Gibb MW: 91/100. When you taste Framingham’s 2023 Sauvignon Blanc in a lineup from the region, it gives you a better appreciation of the shape, depth and elegance that this wine offers. It's sourced from around 20 different parcels with a small proportion fermented in large wooden tank before being left on lees. It's a classic style aromatically in that it offers varietal characteristics of pea, mint, pineapple and citrus, but it translates these in a balanced and textured package. Drinking Window 2024 - 2027.
James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com): 90/100. Fresh and zesty white with sliced limes, pear skin, fine herbs and crushed stones. Juicy and crunchy on the palate with a medium body and mineral undertones. Refreshing and satisfying.
Tasting Note
Expressive aromatics with ripe yellow citrus such as lemon and grapefruit and subtle hints of wet stone and herbs. A powerful palate with volume and mouthfeel. Flavours of passion fruit, gooseberry and stone fruit, sweet herbs, and a fine boned acid finish.
